Friendship II  1936 34' x 9'-7",  Fremont Boat Company, Seattle.
One of only a half dozen or so boats built by Doc Freeman before the union shut down his operation because he wasn’t using union labor. He built the boat for his brother-in-law Bill Herman, a cabinet maker, who designed and built the cabin. I believe the boat to be an Ed Monk Sr. Design, but this is not confirmed at this time.

The hull was just refastened and painted, and the transom underwent extensive repair. The fuel tanks were also replaced. Highly respected boat restorer Allan Thomle of Stanwood completed the work.
Engine: Single, 110 HP, Chrysler Crown, 6 cylinders, installed in 1949. Hull: 1” Port Orford planks,  1 3/8” x 5/8” oak frames.

Friendship II now resides in Tacoma.
