Sponsored
by the Classic Yacht Association and the Port of Seattle, the Bell
Street Pier Classic Yacht Rendezvous is one of the largest gatherings of
pre-war classic motoryachts to be held anywhere.
A formal "Sail-In"
takes place on Friday afternoon. Many of the classics will gather
off the Elliott Bay Marina breakwater at
4 pm and parade into the harbor
as a group. Signal flags, happy crews and blasting horns will be the
order of the day!
The public is
invited to view the classics beginning at 10 am on Saturday through 5 pm,
with boarding optional at owner's discretion (soft-soled shoes required.) The public visits
continue on Sunday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Window Signs describe each
yacht's particulars and history. Admission is free.
On Saturday, a "People's Choice" ballot is
available, and we invite the public to vote for their favorite yacht.
Don't miss this opportunity for a
close-up look at vessels from the Golden Age of Motoryachting!
